15 Love is an intimate boutique racquet property where accommodations, pool and courts are all together—yet you're just a short walk from Tamarindo Beach and the restaurants, shops and energy of town.
This is a true stay-and-play experience: start the day on court, spend the afternoon at the beach or exploring Costa Rica, and enjoy Tamarindo in the evening.
The Racquet Experience
Your week will feature professionally hosted tennis sessions with Dan Mainzer, Host Professional, combining instruction, drills, doubles strategy, match play and friendly competition.
15 Love features two tennis courts that can also accommodate pickleball, making it especially well suited to the small, personal groups we bring on our retreats.

Your Stay
15 Love offers boutique accommodations centered around its tropical grounds, swimming pool and racquet facilities.
Unlike a large resort, the intimate setting allows our group to stay together and enjoy a relaxed retreat atmosphere throughout the week.
And when you're ready to venture out, Tamarindo Beach and downtown Tamarindo are only a short walk away, giving you easy access to restaurants, shopping, nightlife, surfing and everything else the town has to offer.

Playing Level
High Intermediate – Advanced (NTRP 3.5–4.5)
The right group makes the retreat.
Our retreats are intentionally organized around compatible playing levels. Keeping players within an appropriate range allows us to provide better drills, competitive match play and a more enjoyable experience for everyone.
UTR-rated players are welcome as well. Because NTRP and UTR don't have a direct one-to-one conversion, simply provide your current UTR when you inquire.
Not sure of your rating? No problem. Tell us about your playing background and Dan will personally help determine whether the retreat is the right fit.
Retreat Pricing
1 Player • Private Room
$3,500 total
One playing guest occupying their own private room. Includes the complete tennis retreat program, accommodations and standard retreat inclusions.
1 Player + 1 Non-Playing Companion
$4,000 total per couple
One playing guest plus a non-playing spouse, partner, friend or companion sharing the same room. The companion receives shared accommodations, group airport transportation, local golf-cart transportation and applicable included breakfast/meal arrangements, but does not participate in the tennis program.
2 Players • Shared Room
$4,750 total per couple
Two playing guests sharing the same room. Both guests participate in the complete tennis retreat program and receive the standard retreat inclusions.
Beyond the Courts
One of the best things about Tamarindo is everything available when you're not playing tennis. Spend the afternoon on Tamarindo Beach, relax by the pool, explore town, go surfing, shop, enjoy local restaurants or simply grab a drink and watch one of Costa Rica's famous Pacific sunsets. For guests looking for more adventure, optional activities may include:

Optional excursions and activities are not included in the retreat price.
Getting There
Guests will fly into Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR — Guanacaste Airport). Group ground transportation between the airport and Tamarindo is included as part of the retreat package. Once in Tamarindo, our included golf-cart transportation makes it easy to get around locally during the week. Airfare is not included.
What’s Not Included
Airfare, lunches and dinners not specifically included in the retreat package, alcoholic beverages, optional excursions and activities, personal purchases and incidental expenses, and travel insurance are not included.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

- Non-playing spouses, partners and companions are welcome when accommodations permit but do not count toward the minimum number of playing guests.
- Your playing level will be confirmed with Dan before your reservation is accepted.
- A $1,000 per-person deposit is required after your participation has been confirmed and applies toward your total retreat price.
- No payment is required to submit an inquiry.
